The knots listed on this site are the required knots for Boy Scouts to advance through the ranks of Scouting. This is a fun way for boys to learn the knots they will use in scouts and throughout life.
Queen Scout Lyall’s Scouting Pro Tip: If you’re not sure what you’re doing just tie lots and lots of half hitches. The knot will look secure and hopefully be secure. Give the rope a few tugs to check.
