ABC gardening guru Peter Cundall who is 82 was arrested yesterday for protesting against a planned pulp mill in Tasmania.

He’s not just a conservationist, gardening expert and former presenter of ABC TV’s Gardening Australia he has also been a ‘parachutist in the British military, a prisoner-of-war in Yugoslavia under Marshal Tito and, much later, an active member of the Tasmanian Communist Party.’
